No Water Means No Power

Venezuela might be a large oil producer, but a good bit of its electricity comes from water. Since there has been a drought in recent months, the country has seen an energy crisis like none other. The country has extended weekends for workers so that they only work four days a week. Malls have been shutdown. Twitter is blocked. There is a new initiative where the time will be pushed ahead by 30 minutes so that students will go to school in daylight hours and so that there is more daylight in homes in the evening. Water is being limited as well so that the country can conserve as much energy as possible.
