Julia Jackson Puts a Spotlight on Sonoma County’s Wine Country

Julia Jackson does not view wine as an interest or see the business sharing her name as a career opportunity. For her, the wine industry has always been a large part of her life. Her parents were well established in the industry long before she was even born. Today she plays an active role in keeping the business on track, dedicated to its goals and in the media spotlight.

Jackson Family Wines are a California-based company but they have wineries around the world. Château Lassègue in France, Arcanum in Italy and Capensis in South Africa are just some of the brands their corporation produces. Of course, they are also well known by many in the United States for the premium Kendell-Jackson brand produced in California.

Julia Jackson is dedicated to maintaining her family’s reputation and continues to introduce their products to new customers. This is why the family is once again the main sponsor for South Beach Seafood Week. At the event this year they will showcase one of the company’s signature wineries, Cambria wines.

Cambria is also the name of the non-profit Jackson is devoted to helping and currently works at as the organization’s spokesperson. In 2014 she founded the Cambria Seeds of Empowerment program that is dedicated to drawing attention to women who are inspiring others by overcoming hardship. They offer annual cash grants to aspiring non-profits that meet the standards of the group for community spirit and equality.

Jackson attended Stanford Business School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Scripps College, but much of education has been through the hands-on training she received working alongside her parents and her siblings throughout her life. Despite following in her parent’s footsteps she remains independent and is not afraid to buck trends and traditions. An example is her determination that despite the love for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the region she believes the best wine Sonoma produces is its Cabernet. It is with this belief and an established family of fine brands backing her that she plans to make Sonoma County famous around the world for its wine. Read this article at theatlanta100.com.

. In numbers collected by the United States Agency of International Development, exclusionary economies, wherein a specific group of people have all the opportunities to prosper, leads to a sluggish economy, working against the goal of development of these countries. Instead, the USAID recommends that opportunities be made available to all, including women and young girls, because with access to effective healthcare and education, they can take part and interest in the development of their countries.

This is an assessment that QNET has agreed with in some fashion for a while now, making their decision to partner with women in direct selling to be an organic one. And this is a mutually beneficial relationship, wherein QNET gets access to brilliant minds in business and these young women gain the experience necessary to pursue their dreams in business.
